Remember Kai the hitchhiker, the guy who saved a woman from an attack in Fresno back in February?
Well, in a bizarre twist, Kai – real name Caleb Lawrence McGillvary – is now wanted for murder.
Union County law enforcement officials have issued an arrest warrant for Kai for the murder of Joseph Galfy, Jr., in Clark, N.J.
Galfy was found dead in his home on Monday. The cause of death has been ruled as blunt force trauma.
Authorities say McGillvary is considered armed and dangerous and has cut his hair to disguise his appearance.
He’s been charged with murder and bail has been set at $3 million.
So what led to this dark turn? It’s not known for sure, but here’s a cryptic (and graphic) update to his Facebook page from Tuesday, the day after Galfy was found dead.
